free tours for groups of 8 or more visitors.
Tuesday Adopt-a-Park: the latest garden news and coffee will be available at the Maintenance Office beginning
at 9:30 a.m. every Tuesday morning, April through Setpember. From 10 a.m. to noon, the gardeners will lead
the volunteers in work on a garden project. Planting pruning, raking, weeding, spreading mulch--whatever needs
to be done. Some tools will be available but brining your own is recommended. Something to kneel on and a hat
can add to comfort.
The city has a big budget crisis at the present time and hours of work have veen cut in the Parks Department.
Those us us who appreciate Kubota Garden can have a real impact on how the garden looks in 2012.
