2012 Kubota Garden Calendar:

gardencalendarFor several years artist Mary Magenta has visited the Kubota Garden and has found it a source of delight and inspiration. This summer she created a series of oil paintings inspired by the garden and assembled them to create a calendar for 2012 featuring her favorite impressions. Mary says: “This 38th edition of the Magenta calendar is dedicated to all the energized wonderful humans that work to keep this park so beautifully alive!” The full color calendar is priced at $12.00. Please visit her web site marymagenta.com for images and details.

Kubota Garden Foundation publishes their first COOKBOOK!

The Kubota Garden Foundation has collected the best recipes from their members, family and friends and compiled them into an attractive keepsake cookbook titled “A COOK’S TOUR OF KUBOTA GARDEN.”

All proceeds will go to finance the extension of the ornamental entry wall (they already have the footings in place). The cookbook contains over 200 well-loved recipes including appetizers, main dishes, desserts and many others. The book includes some very special photos and a history of Kubota Garden. Recipes include the contributor’s name, enabling you to find the recipes of family and friends.
